    Hi,

Let me say first that the Email to Download installed fine and I even set up one of my books to be the subject of an email to download.

The Mailchimp extra plug in was a terrific idea and set all this up right.

    However,

    1. The instructions were pretty poor, especially for a WP newbie like me. Could not find the shortcode, no help in what the two new menus were on the Post Page.

    2. I tried to seek help but EMAIL to DOWNLOAD does not appear on the Products Menu.

    3. I completed a “Feedback Form” but so far no response or confirmation it was received.

I don’t understand how I am supposed to set up the post. I was expecting to have a page with the downloads on and if someone selected it, they would be prompted to provide email address.

Oh, just noticed EMAIL to DOWNLOAD is not in tags below either.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello Trevor

After activating the plugin, there should be a new menu in your dashboard called – ETD Download, there you have to upload your digital product.

Next, within any page in the above the editor, beside the media button there should be another button to set shortcode. Just select the product and the shortcode will be auto generated.

Please check and let me know if you see the same.

    Hi Sushi,

Yes I experimented whilst I was waiting for email reply and I saw the shortcode. I obtained this code [ed_download_file] Download Shortcode

I also managed to set up a POST Page as attached. But then in the post page I could click on link and download it, I was not prompted for an email address.

    Hi Trevor

Would you please send me a link of that page so that I can check?
